Sarah Day is a Sales Associate with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Montana Properties. She is proud to say that she grew up in the Gallatin Valley.
Born and raised on a cattle ranch until she was 12, she has a great appreciation for the outdoor opportunities and majestic landscapes “The Last Best Place” provides. She craves open space and gets out on the trails with her dog as often as she can! If she’s not working or hiking, she’s likely out at the barn horseback riding.
Sarah obtained her bachelors in Economics from Connecticut College and her Masters in Professional Accountancy from Montana State University. She is a CPA with experience in individual tax preparation and non-profit accounting. Although her background is in accounting and fundraising, her passion has always been real estate. Her attention to detail and love of working with people provides the perfect combination for creating successful transactions.
As a real estate, Sarah has committed to donating a portion of her commissions to local organizations working in land conservation. She views this as a way to leverage the economic success of the Gallatin Valley to protect its open space, trails and scenic views for future generations to enjoy.
As Montana continues to grow and change, Sarah believes in finding a balance to protect our beautiful open spaces!
Since finishing up her term on the Gallatin Valley Land Trust NextGen Advisory Board, Sarah continues to advocate for land conservation and stewardship through her business. She shares trail maps (like this one!) and information about local conservation efforts at open houses with potential clients and newer members of the community.
Sarah continues to let her clients know when a donation is made in their honor to a land trust helping to get them engaged in the efforts as well.
