First and foremost, we love trees. From carbon sinks to water filtration, wildlife habitat to human therapy, trees are vital to every ecosystem they inhabit, whether in a wild backcountry setting or in an urban backyard. We started Rootbound Arborists to help better manage the relationship between humans and trees, and to hopefully steward many of them into maturity.
Trees and forests are also intimately entwined with wildlife, and the health and vigor of one, often dictates the other. All of the Rootbound Arborists' crew members live an active outdoors lifestyle, centering around public lands and water access.
It's these wild lands that provide us with the inspiration to live a good life, do good work, and leave every place better than when we arrived.
The unspoiled future of these places, and this way of life, is on the line in the modern industrial world we find ourselves in. '2% for Conservation' has provided a great platform to express our support for vital organizations and their efforts, as well as strengthen our conservation ethos.
